Friday Reads

Friday Reads, named after the Twitter hashtag, is all about my reading over the week – what I’ve read, what I want to read, what I’m planning on reading next, if anything, and any additional thoughts that I might have.

This week I finished Has Anyone Seen Jessica Jenkins by Liz Kessler. I thought it was very funny and well written. Definitely a book I’m going to read again.

I also started Matched by Ally Condie.

I’m really liking it so far and I’m definitely tempted to read the rest of the series.

This week I finished Darkmere by Helen Maslin. It was a very interesting read and I loved the voices and writing styles.

I also started Has Anyone Seen Jessica Jenkins by Liz Kessler about a girl who discovers she can turn invisible. The voice is brilliant and its very funny!

This week I’ve been reading The Duff by Kody Keplinger.

Recently made into a film, it’s about a girl called Bianca who gets called The Duff – the Designated Ugly Fat Friend. A reread, it’s a sassy book full of romance, sex, friendship and banter. I loved it the first couple of times I read and I’m loving it all over again.

Sadly, I have no idea what I’m going to read next, but I’m sure I’ll find something.
