Monday Muses

Firstly I would like to apologise for the lack of blog posts last week. Between stress and feeling unwell, I decided to take a break.

The last two weeks have been yet more time with nothing in particular inspiring me this week.

Has anything inspired you this week?

Words on Wednesday: Midnight Kiss

I finished the outline! Yay! I had some setbacks, but I’m got there and that’s the most important thing.

There was a lot of this:

But I’m not surprised, that’s what outlining involves.

The thing was working out how this book could be Act 1, the set up, in terms of the series. I’m not sure if I’ve succeeded, but I’ll air for revisions for that.

Words on Wednesday: Storybook Endings/Midnight Kiss

This week has been one of those weeks where I might not have been able to get tons done in the blocks of time I was working, I still felt like I had been really productive.

My Story Binder is prepared.

Look how awesome it is! It’s for the whole series, which means that things will be added as I write and revise every book in the series.

Best of all right now is that I’m finally ready to start outlining! My characters are ready, some of the settings are ready, and the playlist is long enough to listen to!

Hopefully by this time next week, I’ll be at least halfway through the outline!

Words on Wednesday: Storybook Endings/Midnight Kiss

This week has been a very good week, writing wise. I finished my brainstorming and there was indeed a lot of this:

and a lot of this:

so yay!

I’ve now moved onto the character profiles AND I’ve started setting up a story binder, thanks to the Ink and Quills blog. There will hopefully be pictures in next week’s Words on Wednesday. At the moment I’m thinking the hardest thing I’ll be working on this week will be the character arcs in the profiles, but we’ll see. I’m very excited about this though because it means I’ll be one step closer to getting ready to outline!

What have you been up to this week?
